This is a brief update to announce when The Textured Tarot is to be available for pre-order. It’s turning out to be quite an eventful journey! For reasons I am not aware of, this deck does not want to be advertised yet. Perhaps it’s ‘Mercury Retrograde’? I dunno….Yet, despite my and my printers best efforts, the test deck has not been able to get to me safely. Six postal disappointments on and I am simply surrendering to this madness!
I have made an executive decision that The Textured Tarot will be available for preorder in my Etsy store from Monday 16th April. It will remain on pre-order for up to 8 weeks. I will print as soon as I have enough orders. This allows time for me to iron out the weird creases! I am no longer in the headspace to feel open and joyful about my launch; too many things going wrong. So, I am going to step back, take a deep breath and establish patience.

I understand when there are set backs it can make a situation feel hexed, jinxed. When you are deeply connected to every part of the process, its a natural reaction. Would it feel softer to file this under divine timing? That some part of it needed some more time before it was ready to become, to join the world.
This is happening to me too on a project close to my heart. The first delays hurt, but gave me more pondering time, the more recent ones, make my heart ache, but I know in time this thing will happen. My word for the year is Allow. I just have to learn to allow things to take the time they need to appear.
What is meant for you will not pass you by and all that?

Great question. I am running it through Etsy. I think they will take money immediately, but I will explore the option to see if they handle it differently for preorders. I have thought of seven weeks as an estimate to allow plenty of time to put first order in to printers once I have at least 50 orders x

Just a heads up about a non facebook forum for tarot, called Tarotsphere. It has an area for deck creators. I’ve been mentioning your deck in the WiP (work in progress) section, hope that’s ok.
