It Has Taken Different Forms
This way of working
has not always looked like this.
—
It has taken different forms.
—
At times,
it appeared in smaller pieces.
Held in the hand.
Returned to more than once.
Something to sit with,
rather than move past.
—
At other times,
it was less visible.
A way of seeing.
A way of noticing
what was shifting
beneath the surface.
—
I did not always recognise it
as the same thing.
—
Only later,
looking back,
does the continuity become clearer.
—
Not a fixed path.
Not a single shape.
—
But a way of returning
to what is already there.
—
These days,
it feels more open.
Less defined.
—
Not contained in one form.
—
But still carrying
something familiar.
—
A quiet thread
running through it all.
—
Something that has been here
for longer than I realised.
—
And is still unfolding.
